Team
Over the years we have created the perfect team. Cameramen that deliver exceptional work, producers that have worked across the board and editors that cut together some of the best TV and films on our screens.
Millie Cortizo
Melissa set up Media Spaces after a decade in both the broadcast and corporate world. She’s a broadcast journalism graduate from Nottingham who worked for several years at an award winning production company in the Midlands before three years as a hands on director/producer in London and has made programmes for the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky. Media Spaces is her baby...apart from the other baby, husband and bassett hound! Over the years she’s hand-picked a team that’s committed to produce stunning images and excellent delivery of message.
Rob Pendlebury
Rob Pendlebury has 15 years experience in making television programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five and Discovery. He's made Restoration for BBC2, filmed nature documentaries in the Amazon rainforest, produced sensitive observational documentaries within national institutions and directed pop series for MTV.
Lauren Pushkin
Lauren has established her name not only as a first class director and editor, but moreover as a storyteller who can bring to life any given project. She has 100s of credits working for companies such as BBC Worldwide, SpunGold TV, Splice TV, Endemol and ESPN. These credits include the highest selling DVD in the history of the UK ‘The Rugby World Cup 2003. Lauren is an all rounder with a keen eye for design, the ability to work quickly and accurately to a brief and an intuitive sense of what is required by the client. Her strong sense of narrative is second to none.
Declan McCaughey
Apart from being one of the nicest people you can meet, Declan’s a brilliant cameraman. He’s worked for Channel 4, ITN, Reuters, Rai Television and most currently on Daybreak. Declan works on most Media Spaces films. He’s quick, sharp and really rather brilliant.
Kristel Krisjansdottir
Kristel has been a freelance editor since 2002, but her love of TV and film was born much earlier, when she was a little nipper glued in front of the telly. She started in News and Current Affairs and quickly widened her repertoire to Entertainment, Travel, Reality TV, Children's, as well as whole host Corporate videos for a wide spectrum of clients. She has worked in both the UK and her homeland, Iceland and always brings a creative/ practical approach to her work, whatever it may be.
Clem Silverman
Clem has an MA in broadcast journalism, and is a freelance storyteller for the Roald Dahl Museum when he’s not working at Media Spaces. And he drives a Yaris but we don’t hold it against him because the kit still fits in somehow.
